The Mind-Body Health Center of the California College of Ayurveda offers the following services:
Individual Consultation with an Ayurvedic Specialist
Through an in-depth evaluation of your state of health, lifestyle practices and physical attributes, your Ayurvedic consultant will develop an understanding of your unique constitution and any root causes of imbalance or changes you may be experiencing. Your constitution or Prakruti is the fundamental and unique balance of three basic energies called doshas. Your consultation will result in a report of findings and recommendations to start your path of healing.
We are a teaching institution. This means that you have a choice of having your care managed by practitioners at different levels of training including Residents and Graduate practitioners. In addition, Dr. Halpern accepts a limited number of patients which he will directly manage. Dr. Halpern also personally oversees the care provided by the Residents at our clinic.
Initial Consultation with a Resident: $95.00
Initial Consultation with a Graduate Staff Practitioner: $165.00
Initial Consultation with Dr. Marc Halpern (limited appointments available): $225.00
Pancha Karma TherapiesYour practitioner may recommend Ayurvedic Body Therapy or Pancha Karma. These therapies are designed to either rejuvenate or purify as indicated. Individually prepared herbal oils are applied to each person’s body. Rejuvenating Ayurvedic Body therapies are often called Bliss Therapies. Pancha Karma is a more intensive process of removing toxins from the body.
